Allegiance PvP System

  • Guilds may now pledge allegiance to Tethis the God of Water & Piphos the God of Fire. Opposing guilds can freely attack each other without consequence, including inside guardzone.
  • Fire & Water armors are craftable and wearable for members of aligned Guilds.

Player Parties

  • Players can now form parties of up to 5 people.
  • Autoloot while in a party distributes items and gold between nearby group members.

(You will get a warning if the amount of food in the pot exceeds what you can eat while starving).**1/
  • Equipment Durability
    • Heavier armor now loses durability more slowly than lighter armor.
  • Mob Collision (Prototype)
    • First Pass on mob collision. There are known issues with getting stuck inside large mobs.

      • All new players are automatically put in the guild “Recruits of the Order”.
      • GMs are leaders of the guild and can assist new players in guild chat.

      • Charge, Lunge and Defend have been combined into a single “Stance Ability” that automatically updates based on the player’s current stance.
      • The Ability window has been changed to allow you to view the active abilities for each skill separately. This allows you to get a better sense of progression as you skill up skills like Melee and Manifestation.
    • You now get a notification when you unlock a new ability or spell. (new)
    • Players now start with a hunting knife. (new)
  • Rare Crafting Resources – Ingredients for new equipment qualities
    • Durable Wood – Some trees have a slightly different appearance and give this type of wood.
    • Blightwood – Blightwood is no longer obtainable from any Black Forest tree. Must find unique blightwood trees. Blightwood trees can now be found in the graveyard.
    • Vile Blightwood – Chance to harvest from blightwood trees starts at 30 skill and maxes out at 30% chance at 50 skill.
    • Gleaming Iron – Chance to harvest from iron starts at 10 skill and maxes out at 30% chance at 30 skill.
    • Crystallized Cobalt – Chance to harvest from cobalt starts at 30 skill and maxes out at 30% chance at 50 skill.
    • Fluffy Cotton – Chance to harvest from Cotton plants. Used to create Quilted Fabric.

    • You can now right click on a container in your inventory and designate it as a loot bag. Anytime you quickloot or loot all, the items will go straight to the loot bag. (new)

  • Fixed issue where WASD movement would cause framerate lag in the catacombs

Clusters:

  • WARNING: Clusters are currently unstable. We may switch Azure Sky back and forth between a cluster and a standalone map as we work to improve the stability over the next couple weeks.

Features:

  • Catacombs Level 1 and 2
    • NOTE: Due to the instability of the clusters feature, Catacombs might not be available 24/7. Check the list of maps on the Server Details at login to see if it’s running.
    • The top level of the catacombs are inhabited by religious followers known as the Wayward who follow a race of gods called the Strangers.
    • The second level rearranges itself every few hours. Each of the 5 configurations are filled with traps, monsters, new loot (weapons, armor, resources, recipes, spells)
    • The Cerberus boss encounter at the end of level 2 guards the lowest level of the dungeon which is coming next release.
    • 7 new quests
    • 10 new titles

 

 

  • Animation Improvements
    • Humans now holster their weapons/shields when out of combat

    • Wideswipe – (AOE) Slice across your opponents in an area of effect in front of you, dealing damage to each of them.

    • Taunt – Taunt your opponent, attempting to cause him to focus on you.

    • Soul Drain – Drains some of your opponent’s soul, causing damage to him and regaining some your health.

    • Ambience (Magic Affinity) – Reduces mana use by 70% for 2-6 seconds, and mana regeneration by 70% for 7-11 seconds

Bug Fixes:

  • Camera now zooms in much closer to the character
  • It is now much harder to kite monsters/animals. They will match your speed if they run faster than you. Also increased the run speed of most NPCs to match that of players. You will need to sprint to get away.
  • Major pathfinding improvements. Mobs should path through walls and other collision much less often now.
  • You can now only change your bind location from beds in your own house.
  • Splitting a stack of objects will no longer disappear in your pack
  • You now get more experience towards your crafting skill by crafting more difficult and higher quality items
  • Increased base player health (before stat modifications) from 200 to 270
  • Lower taming difficulty on most mobs
  • Pets no longer spam combat stance message to owner
  • Increase capacity of backpacks (50), chests (50), crates (50), pouches (50) and lockboxes (30)
  • Only one house per account now (does not affect existing houses)
  • All characters on an account are considered owners of a house
  • Guilds have been wiped to be replaced with the global guild system
  • Login and loading screens no longer reduce framerate when not active

Patch Notes: 0.3.2 Lag freeze fixes and cluster preparations

Greetings Attuned Mortals! This release is mostly preparation for the upcoming roll-out of cluster support. Clusters are not fully ready for testing, but I am planning on putting up an experimental cluster server up so everyone can help us test the cross region travel. The most important thing in this release is a fix for the terrible freezes that were happening when you came into range of other players or populated areas like the village. So without further ado, here are the full notes:

  • The crafting improvement system is now functional. When you are done crafting an item that can be approved, you will get a window asking you if you want to attempt to improve it.   • Introducing our first loading screen, the wormhole. This loading screen is intended for travel between worlds. We will eventually have other loading screens for travelling between regions on the same world (Celador <-> Outlands)
  • New fabrication recipes:
    • Bandana
    • Bandit Hood
    • Mage Hat
  • Mobs can now sometimes see cloaked players if they fail their reveal check
  • Weight
    • Finally containers have a weight restriction. This weight includes the weight of everything including items in sub containers. Your bank has a 1000 pound limit and all other containers have a max weight of 200.
    • Coins now weigh 1 stone per 1000 coins (rounded up)

Fixes

  • Improve lag when large numbers of objects come into range at once
  • Fix lag when coming into range of other players
  • House doors and locked down containers (chests, lockboxes) are no longer pickable.
  • Crafting now pulls resources from sub containers (bags inside your backpack)
  • Fixed Pet Resurrect skill (In pet abilities)
  • Riposte fix for 0 damage
  • Mana cost increase from weapons/shields now calculated separately from spell buffer.
  • Fixed the mayor task that gave you a relic
  • You now lose faction if you attack while cloaked.
  • Super guards can now see cloaked players
  • Super guards will also teleport to you if they fail to path
  • Casting spells uncloak you.
  • Fixed bug where mobs dug up in the graveyard don’t attack back
  • Can no longer equip items out of banks
  • House decay changed to 7 days for starter house and 30 days for the bigger houses
  • Can no longer ressurect Greater Demon of Kho, Spider Queen, Cultist King, or Ogres
  • You can no longer overfill containers using crafting

  • Loyalty Reward Window
    • You can now redeem loyalty points using the /loyalty command. These are account based so once they are redeemed they are gone. NOTE: These points will reset *if* we do a character wipe.

  • Item Balance
    • High end items are more rare
    • Merchants buy things for less

    • Increases resource counts in sources
    • Added more stone/iron/cobalt nodes to the map.
  • Item Repair now has a resource cost associated with it. It is up to half the resources used to create the item based on how damaged the item is.
  • Added Cobalt Ingots recipe
  • Added some of the base stats for armor to the tooltips (does not apply to armor already in the game)
  • Fixes
    • Put the weapon back in your hand after harvesting using a tool
    • Iron/Cobalt nodes now regenerate correctly
    • Harvesting skill now affects how much you get out of a source before it’s depleted
    • Skill Ability cooldowns should now work properly
      • Restore – 45 seconds
      • Regenerative Focus – 35 seconds
      • Pick Lock – 4 seconds
      • Steal – 7 seconds
      • Shadow Run – 35 seconds
    • You can no longer spam the stealth ability
    • Stat modifiers from buffs/debuffs now get reset on logout
    • Campfires now properly provide a reduction in the time to enter rest state
    • Fixed using bandages on others
    • Fixed hps for aged mobs
    • Fix bugs with multiple guards responding to a crime
    • Cultist merchant now actually sells items to players
    • Can no longer sell slaves that spawned as slaves to the slave trader
    • Increased value of treasure map treasure
    • Fixed surface of blacksmith patio
    • New harvesting tools should now have durability
    • Made it easier to click items
    • Fix some issues where states of trees/rocks could get out of sync between client and server (There may still be a bug here, but it’s better!)
    • Fix appraising stacks of items
    • Increased chance for skeleton weapons to break on death (sorry guys! graverobbing was just too lucrative)
    • Items should take longer to break after the “In danger of breaking message”
    • Fix gems getting long names
    • You can now gain up to 20 skill on dummies/training rock
    • Fix quest button not always opening the window
